How to Apply
Application/Registration:
Please apply for the course [here]. Students will be selected from the application pool based on their skills, experience, and education. We seek students who are best positioned to benefit form this course in terms of their future research and scientific career. Applicants will need to supply a curriculum vitae, a statement of motivation, some brief descriptions of their experience in phylogenetics and computer science, and an explanation of how they expect to benefit from the course.
Cancellation Terms:
Tuition is only reimbursed if a replacement student can be drawn from the waiting list.

April 5: Application submission deadline
April 15: Acceptance notification date
May 5: Deadline for tuition payment
August 5: Participants arrive at BGI-Shenzhen campus
August 6: First day of class
August 8: Free day to visit Shenzhen and the environs
August 13: Free day to visit Shenzhen and the environs
August 16: Last day of class
August 17: Participants leave BGI-Shenzhen campus
